Honse Farm - One network, one plugin, one farm.

Honse Farm is a federated network for Final Fantasy XIV that enables real-time character customization sharing across independent servers. Instead of forcing players to choose between isolated Mare forks, Honse Farm creates a unified network where servers cooperate while maintaining their independence.

The Problem

When Mare Synchronos was shut down by legal action, the FF14 community lost its primary tool for real-time character customization sharing. Mare's open-source code led to multiple replacement servers (Mare Forks), but this created serious challenges:

Community Fragmentation: Different Mare forks are incompatible with each other. Friend groups must all use the same fork or lose the ability to share customizations. What was once a unified community tool became a collection of isolated islands.

Feature Divergence: Each fork starts adding their own features, making them even more incompatible. Instead of joining hands to build something together, the community keeps splitting into smaller pieces.

Maintenance Burden: Every FFXIV, Dalamud, Penumbra, or Glamourer update requires each fork to update independently. Most maintainers are volunteers with limited time, resulting in broken clients and extended downtimes.
